yeah, there really doesn't seem to be anybody talking about it, weird, i'm curious now, it is pretty easy to take the padding off, you may want to pull the stuffing out and give it a test?
whats disturbing about latex, is that it's the chemicals used to treat it to maintain it's solid form that causes the allergic reaction not that actual treesap or whatever it is

i have the hd 435.. vince just mentioned i might be getting irritation becuase it's latex. which i hadn't even thought of.. sigh.

yeah, without padding there isn't much of a headphone, it's the type with huge pads
